Easter Egg Hot Chocolate


Melt your favourite chocolate eggs into warm, velvety milk for a rich and decadent treat the whole family will love.


Ingredients

1 cup milk

2 hollow chocolate eggs (100g each)

20g whipped cream (to serve)

1 tsp cocoa powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup mini marshmallows (to serve)

1 tbs chocolate, shaved (to serve)

Directions

Step 1

Remove wrappers from eggs. Use a sharp knife to carefully remove the top of one of the eggs, then sit it in a mug.

Step 2

Roughly chop the remaining egg and place in a small saucepan with milk, cocoa and vanilla. Stir over low heat for 5 minutes or until melted and combined.

Step 3

Pour hot chocolate into egg sitting in mug. Top with marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.
