Tempus Two Winter Sangria Recipe


This make-ahead sangria is rich, fruity, and ridiculously easy, made with Tempus Two Merlot, maple, citrus, and a splash of soda for sparkle. For when you want to stay in this Winter, but still impress.


Ingredients:

1 bottle Tempus Two Varietal Merlot from BWS - Windsor Marketplace

1 cup orange juice

2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)

1 orange, sliced into rounds

1 apple, thinly sliced

Chilled soda water (to top)

Optional: a pinch of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla


Method:

  1. In a large jug, pour in the full bottle of Tempus Two Merlot.

  2. Add orange juice and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.

  3. Toss in the orange and apple slices.

  4. Feeling fancy? Add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of vanilla for extra depth.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let it all mingle.

  6. When you’re ready to serve, top with soda water and give it a gentle stir.

  7. Pour into wine glasses and garnish with extra fruit.

  8. Light a candle. Cue the music. Pretend you planned this hours ago.
